Very Large “Trout” Ice Fishing Spearing Decoy, 14” long. Signed “RCD” in the Lead Weighting. Carved Wood Body Painted a Darker Green with Black Speckling and a White Underbelly. 7 Metal Painted Fins. Glass Eyes. Carved Curved Tail. This is a more well done contemporary carving. The very large size makes it interesting.

Attractive and Unusual Colorful Sunfish Ice Fishing Spearing Decoy, 5 1/2” long. Well carved Body with 4 well done Painted Tin Fins. Carved open mouth and deep carved gills and painted eyes. Body is Painted in an Olive Green with lots of Orange and Yellow decoration along with Red and Black around the mouth and gills. A very nice Trout decoy with exceptional pain decorations on the body and all six fins. It also has most unusual applied and painted eyes. The size is 8″ in length. It is in excellent worn condition with most of the wear on the bottom of the body and fins. Probably from the 1970’s or so.
