A Small Size Early 20th. C. “Hummer” Windmill Weight Made By the Elgin Wind Power and Pump Co. Circa 1910-1920. The Elgin Co. Was From Elgin, Illinois and Made a Diverse Range of Counterbalance Weights for Their Different Windmills. This Rooster Weight is Embossed Hummer E184 and was Made for Their Smaller 10 Foot Windmill. It is in Excellent Original Condition Retaining Some of its Old Black and Red Paint and Old Rust. The 2 Tail Feather Tips are Not Damaged, They Just Did Not Get Completely Filled with Iron in the Mold which is a Common Condition for the Weight. Interesting Side Note – When Found the Rooster was Part of a Lamp. Now Displayed on Its Custom Stand.

Well, Here We Have A Very Utilitarian Item But Because of Some Fine Craftsman We Also Have a Very Decorative and Well Constructed Sausage Stuffing Tool, Yes Sausage Stuffer! Nicely Designed and Made With A Tin Body Wrapped With Beaded Edge Copper Accent Bands for Strength and Decoration. It Also Retains Its Original Turned Wood Plunger. Probably from Eastern Penn. An Attractive Late 19th. C. Or Early 20th. C. Well Made and Colorful Fringed “Penny Rug” – 52” X 29”. The Rug is Sewn with Areas of Multiple Color Circular Pieces and Overlaid with Smaller Colorful Dots. The Full Rug is Accented with an Applied Well Done Long Fringe Border. Excellent Original Condition on the Top Display Side and Its Fabric Underlay. Size = 52” X 29” Including the Fringe Border. There are Some Areas of Wear and Damage to the Additional Bottom Liner that Does Not Effect the Design Layers. Visible in Last Photo. Found in a Missouri Home.

19th. C. Tin and Glass Candle Lantern Impressed “E.F. Parker’s Patent 1853-1855 – Boston, Mass”. Fine Original Condition – All 4 Glass Panels Intact, Slide in Tin Candle Holder Is Present, Star and Ray Pierced Tin Decoration in Fine Condition, All It’s Wire Protective Bands are in Place, Original Circular Hand Ring and Even Some of its Original Surface Finish. A Very Clean Example. Size = 4 1/2” Square, 11 1/2” Tall without the Circular Hand Ring and 16” Tall with the Hand Ring Extended.

An Excellent Group of 2 Blown Molded University Seal Bottles C. 1840-50. Both are in Excellent Original Condition with No Damages, Staining or Sediment. Both Examples are a Dark Olive Amber Color and Have Their Applied “School” Seal Identifications in Tact. The Bottle on the Left is from the “Middle Temple University” in England., C. 1840-1850. The Bottle on the Right is from “Emmanuel College” England, C. 1840-1850. These Attractive Bottles were Originally Used in the School’s Common Rooms and Oftentimes Filled with Port Wine for the Students Pleasure During Casual Time.
