A Well Proportioned and Well Constructed 5 Drawer Grain Painted Chest. Original Multilayer Paint Swirled to Simulate a Strong Sweeping Grain. Using Medium Orange Mustard over a Darker Green Brown. Accented with a Band of Lighter Color Mustard Around the Drawer Edges. The Primary Wood is Poplar and the Secondary is Pine. Retains its Original Porcelain Knobs. Case is Accented by Chamfered Side Columns and Cupid’s Bow Scalloping on the Sides of the Base. Nailed construction. Very Good Original Paint. Size is 16 5/8” Tall, Case is 12 “ Wide and the Depth 7 3/4”. Like from Penn. or NYS.

A very well done Very Large Carved Wood Blue Jay Mounted on a Driftwood Base. The Blue Jay is 12” Long and the Total Height is 8 1/2”. The Total base is 13” Wide. This Blue Jay appears to be a very happy bird. Open Mouth and Smiling right at you. Well carved body with good detail to the wings and tail. Very nice detailed attention to the paint work. And, a nice selection of Driftwood for the Base. Mounted on heavy steel wire. Fine original condition. Probably from the 1950’s. Nice example.

An Unusual Game Board on Short Legs for Table Top Use. It is all Hand Painted in 6 Different Colors. It has an Interesting Wire Cage in the Center of the Board with a Single Dice which is Activated from a Rubber Pad on the Bottom of the Board. The Game Board has Wood Legs and Surrounding Frame with an Early Masonite Board (Masonite has been produced since the early 1920’s). Size is 24” Square. Probably from the 1920’s to 1940’s. Nice original condition.

Very attractive well done School Girl Paint Decorated Figured Maple Box, 9” by 7 1/4” by 2 3/4”. Polychrome painted decorations on 5 sides with Black Key surrounding borders. Decorations include Flowers and Foliage around the sides and a Shell and Accents on the Top. Nice original condition with only a shrinkage check on the top and some minor fading from time.
