A very pleasant Early 19th. C. Connecticut Inlaid 4 Drawer Chest with a wonderful Low Profile giving it beautiful proportions and a fine delicate appearance. Most likely from Hartford County, Conn. A very pretty Chest in excellent original condition with it’s original Signed “H&J” Brass Pulls and all Structural Elements. The Graduated Drawers feature Beaded Edges and Line Inlaid Decoration. As does the Edge of the Top. The 4 Bracket Feet are each Flared Out to Accentuate it’s Beautiful Stance. The Top Edge has 3 Line Inlaid Accents. The Size is 40” Wide, 18 1/2” Deep and 32” Tall. It’s Size and Form would make it a very successful Small Server in a Dining Area. No Repairs. Appropriate soft tone refinished surface.
