Brass bound red leather covered document box with a green velvet lining. In good condition with some wear to the leather on top. Large brass ring and back plate in the center of the top. Lock is in place, but we have no key. 10″ wide. 6″ deep and 4″ high.

Late 19th/early 20th C. brass helmut form brass binnacle with its original wetcard compass, carrying handle and side light with burner. The compass card is signed “Dobbie Mcinney & Clyde Ltd., 57 Bothwell Street, Glasgow”. It is in all original condition with a nicely aged surface patina. Size is 9″ tall without handle, 10 3/8″ tall with handle, and 7 1/4″ diameter including the bottom flange, 8 5/8″ without the flange.

Second half 19th C. English brass and wood balance scale by Peter Rogers & Co. of Birmingham. Excellent condition with all original parts. Rogers made scales for the Bank of England. The scale is also marked “Agate Balance Patent”. Size is 21″ high, 17 1/2″ wide.
