“Eclipse” Windmill Governor Weight —— 3 1/2” Thick
Scarce Thicker Version (3 1/2”) of the “Eclipse” Windmill Governor Weight made by the Fairbanks Morse and Company of Chicago, Illinois. Early 20th. C. These Weights were used to control the speed of rotation of the Windmill. This is a Wet Moon model and preferred by farmers who believed the upward shape would catch the rain water. Nice original condition and displayed on a Custom Steel Stand.
