Exceptionally Well Carved “Gartered Trogan” Bird with Beautiful Natural Colors, Signed and Dated 1977 by Harry Ross (1933-2014). Ross had a distinguished career as both a Decoy and Bird Carver in Saybrook, CT. and after retirement in Norway, ME. A large (life size) and colorful Bird native to Mexico and Central America. Size is 10 1/2” Long by 11 1/4” Tall. Excellent original condition. A beautiful carving by a well collected artist.
