A Wonderful Small and Profusely Scrimshawed Powder Horn, 5 1/2” Long. Carved with 15 or so Images Plus the Initials of the Owner On the Horn and the Butt End. The Figures Include 2 Large People, 2 Detailed Eagles, Stage Coach with 2 Horse Team, American Flag, Birds, Dog, Another Stage Coach, Individual Horses, Shoes, etc, The Initials “S P” also have the Last Name Letters Filled In to Form “Parks”, S. Parks on the Horn. A Little Gem of a Horn with No Doubt a Little Picture of the Owners Life. Nice Condition with a Warm Natural Patina.

Early Shaker 3 Finger Swing Handle Basket, 8 1/2” by 5 3/4” with Copper Rivet Construction and Original Swing Handle. Very nice Original Surface that has acquired a nice warm color and patina. There is a tight approx. 6” shrinkage check at mid-body as shown in the photo.

A very nice Early 19th. C. mahogany “Cat” Plate/Bowl Stand. Very nice design and proportions creating an attractive example. Supported on well formed cabriole legs and turned vase pedestal with 3 turned “arms” that can rotate on the pedestal to hold plates or bowl. In fine original condition with very old if not original surface. Size is 13 1/4” Tall.

Nice Larger Size Mid-19th. C. Mellon Form Wood Tea Caddy, 5 1/2” Tall without the Stem and 6 1/4” Tall with the Stem included. The Stem is original. Also, the Lock and Key and the Bone Escutcheon appear original. The Foil Lining is in good condition with normal wear. Old finish and nice base wear. Likely English Origin.

A nice Early and Interesting Burl Canoe Cup with an Array of Decorative Burl Spikes on the base of the Bowl with Interesting Overall Naturally Variegated Burl Wood Grain Colors. Nice formed opening for the Belt Toggle. 5 5/8” long. Probably the original varnish surface. Excellent original condition with a minor Burl grain stress check that has no movement, just a small line in the cup’s very tip.

A very nice Old Canoe Cup with a Deeply Carved “Egg” Shaped Bowl with well carved thin walls and nicely carved Long Carved Curved Handle. The Bowl retains its old original surface finish, the handle wear has worn off the finish to a nice smooth patina. Size is 6 1/2” long. The long leather belt strap may be original. The installation is old but not for sure original. This Canoe Cup is a little different from others, a bit more refined, and nicely designed and executed by the carver. Overall very nice original condition with only some very minor chipping on one side of the bowl’s edge. This is visible in the photos.
