A pair of 19th C. blown apothecary jars in a nice rich golden amber color. Outward rolled rims and ground pontils. Original black and gold trimmed tin covers and paper labels. 8 1/2″ tall. Normal base wear. Excellent original condition. Probably French origin.

Early 19th C. Deep Amethyst Apothecary Bottle with its original gold painted label. Excellent condition and even retains its original cork and tin cover. The glass is brilliant and clean. An excellent example. From an Ohio Doctor’s collection. Large size – bottle only 11 1/2″ tall, 6 3/4″ diameter. 12 1/2″ tall with cover.

Large early 19th C. dark olive amber green apothecary bottle with its old, if not original, fitted cork, 13″ tall with its original gold painted label “T R. CINCH C”. It has a smooth base showing good wear, body is 6 1/2″ diameter. Overall condition is excellent with only a small open bubble (1/4″) on the shoulder and some age discoloration on the gold label. The bottle was blown in a shoulder high dip mold with hand formed shoulders, neck and rolled lip.
